I'm the recent owner of a Motorola Droid X.As far a smart phones go, it is a battery hog.I make it last a whole day by using an extended battery. This device will charge my extended battery 4 times.I can actually go on a normal week long business trip without taking charger, etc.

It charges quickly, and the best feature of this device is that it uses the Gomadic tips that are interchangable.Get a new device, get a new tip for $4.95.Buy the chargers/External Batteries/data cables, etc. one time and just change out the tips.Super easy, cheaper and convenient.

Gomadic shipping is quick, and they do stand behind their products (I've returned things and it is hassle free).

I'd 100% recommend this to anyone that is looking for this type of device.
