(More customer reviews)Both units are universal 5v chargers made in China.The AC unit is rated at 1-Amp output vs the stock 1.6A.Don't think it really makes much difference.Both cords have replaceable #27 plugin tips for the Archos av500. Both charge just fine and the price is right.
