(More customer reviews)The Gomadic brand tip on the car charger is a loose fit for the jack on the Magellan Road Mate 1700, the application for which it was sold.
When plugged into the GPS jack it may work for a while then fail, or not work at all.It seems to be too small to establish good contact with the jack in the GPS unit.
Rather than waste time trying to make the Gomadic tips work, we threw both the car and wall chargers away.
